 Is PPF overkill for a family car?

We just got a new family SUV, nothing luxury, just something practical for school runs and weekend trips. My wife thinks I'm being ridiculous even considering paint protection because it's a family car, not a showpiece. And fair enough, part of me agrees. But then I look at our old car which is covered in scratches and chips and I wonder if spending a bit now would keep this one looking decent for longer. Curious what other parents here did. Did you bother with protection on a daily driver or did you just accept that kids and car parks will destroy it eventually anyway? |
