Removing the spindly lower branches on an auto around day 25 sends the energy into the tops that get light, and those branches would only have produced larf anyway. The cut needs to happen before the stretch ends, since taking growth off later just wastes what the plant already invested. On a plant under a strong light the lower third is usually worth removing. |
